Yvonne's baked goods history began many years ago when she was a sought after cookie designer. Even then, Yvonne had a flair for the incredible, creating cookies that earned her instant popularity. She has transferred that talent into creating custom designed wedding cakes.

In a short period of time, The Cake Box has become a trendy and fashionable alternative for bridal couples seeking a unique wedding cake that will be a highlight of their wedding. Yvonne has designed cakes for bridal couples from all over Canada, the United States, Britain, Norway and Sweden. Her cakes have been seen on Canada AM, Rich Bride Poor Bride on the Life Network, WEDDINGBELLS magazine, The Grand Magazine, Rogers Daytime and she had a cake commissioned by Royal Doulton.

Yvonne has completed the Masters of Cake Decoration and Confectionary Arts in Toronto and she has studied with internationally recognized and award winning sugar artists in New York City and beyond. Yvonne keeps up with the trends in wedding cake designs through continual research and study and worldwide travel.

The Cake Box Sweet Indulgences is located in downtown Kitchener across
from City Hall and the Eatons Lofts. It features display cakes and a comfortable meeting area for consultations where bridal couples can enjoy themselves while creating the wedding cake of their dreams.
