Q: How much are your cakes?
A: The base price for wedding cakes is $4.50 per serving. Additional design details are extra and the price varies depending on the amount and type of design details. A standard 3 tier wedding cake serves 80 pieces and is a base price of $360.00.
Q: Is there a delivery fee?
A: Delivery and setup is extra and is $50.00 in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge area. The fee for outside Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge area varies depending on the distance.
Q: Do you rent stands?
A: We have many different stands to choose from. Stand rentals start at $15.00. A damage deposit is required which is fully refundable upon return of the stands.
Q: Do you offer tastings? How much do they cost?
A: Tastings are offered following a consultation. They are offered 1 to 2 times per month. There is no cost for tastings. Please contact us for specific dates.
Q: When are your consultations?
A: Consultations are available Monday to Wednesday from 10-5 and Saturdays from 10-5 from November to April. During the wedding season consultations are available Monday to Wednesdays from 10-5 from May to October. If you are unable to attend a consultation within these hours please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate a consultation to your schedule.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: For weddings during the wedding season from May to October 6-9 months is preferable to ensure the date is available. For weddings between November and April 3-6 months is adequate. We do have cancellations and may be able to satisfy late requests. Please contact us directly if you have a late request and we will do our best to accommodate if possible.
Q: Do you require a deposit to reserve the date?
A: When a client books a consultation the wedding date is reserved until the consultation. Once the couple received their designs and quotes the date is reserved for another 2 weeks to allow them to review the designs and make a decision. A $100 non-refundable is required to reserve the date.
Q: Do you offer mini cakes? Dessert tables? Macarons?
A: Mini cakes are a trendy and fashionable alternative. We do offer mini cakes which can also serve as a gift favour. We also offer dessert tables that includes french macarons, meringue kisses, cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, cakepops and more.
Q: Do you offer nut free or vegan cakes?
A: We do provide nut free and vegan alternatives.
